LinkPoint VirtualCheck can be easily integrated into a merchant's Web site along with the HTML script used for LinkPoint Basic.
Customers electing to pay for goods or services by check are prompted to enter check information into a simple browser-based form.
The check transaction data is stored in the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway for processing, and the merchant's online reports are
updated in real time.
Using LinkPoint VirtualCheck Through LinkPoint Select API
LinkPoint Select API allows electronic check acceptance to be integrated into the merchant's Web site. Customers electing to pay for
goods or services by check are prompted to enter check information into a form created and maintained on the merchant's Web site.
Check data is sent to the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway through an SSL connection for processing, and the merchant's online
reports are updated in real time.
Using LinkPoint VirtualCheck Through Virtual LinkPoint

an advanced knowledge of the C or Java programming languages prefer to use the LinkPoint Select API (application
programming interface) client to integrate secure credit card processing into both simple and complex e-commerce
Web sites. This allows customers to pay for products and services online with a credit card without leaving the
merchant's Web site. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is used to encrypt confidential transactions and order
information and to pass them directly from the e-commerce site to the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway.
LinkPoint API includes modules that calculate tax and shipping and that enable the sale of digital content through
electronic soft-good downloads (ESDs). In addition, LinkPoint Select API provides sales, returns, real-time
authorizations, purchasing cards and real-time reports.
The LinkPoint API shipping module calculates shipping by flat rate or dollar amount per order. Shipping tables are configured based
on zones or the type of shipping used. This versatile module allows merchants to determine shipping charges precisely.
The LinkPoint API sales-tax module calculates sales tax by state and municipality. This module allows merchants to determine how or

supporting a single-threaded apartment (STA) model, enabling the implementation of transaction processing methods in the following
languages: Visual Basic, HTML/VBScript, Active server pages (htm), Microsoft SiteServer Commerce Edition, Other languages that
support COM technology.
LinkPoint Perl
The LinkPoint Perl wrapper is a common scripting language written for UNIX and Windows systems used by many e-commerce
developers. Perl is freeware; the only cost incurred for integration is the LinkPoint Perl wrapper software. Operating systems compatible
with LinkPoint Perl wrapper are identical to those compatible with LinkPoint Select.
LinkPoint ColdFusion Tag
ColdFusion is a server-based scripting solution produced by Allaire Corporation. The LinkPoint ColdFusion Tag is available for
Windows NT. It is a custom tag that can be simply imported into a ColdFusion server environment.
LinkPoint PHP
The LinkPoint PHP wrapper is written in personal hypertext processor language and embeds the functionality provided by LinkPoint
Select API directly into the merchant's Web server. The operating systems compatible with the LinkPoint PHP wrapper are identical to
those that are compatible with LinkPoint Select API.
LinkPoint iHTML Tag
